Family Takaful Conference

The term “Takaful” is derived from the root word “kafi”– a
guarantee or responsibility. Its underlying characteristic
is al-Musharakah, which means “sharing”. Thus, Takaful
means shared responsibility, shared guarantee, collective
assurance, and mutual undertakings.
